It is challenging living in Italy for the locals, let alone someone who had a completely different lifestyle. When I moved from Italy to the UK, I was amazed at how accessible everything is. I can only suggest you exercise the gratitude mindset and be content with what you have there. If you're striving for more, then I'm afraid Italy will become very soon too restrictive for you. Living in Italy is completely different from spending your holidays there. Sooner or later, you'll be wanting to leave if you want more from life.
